| Visit to the SOLIS-schools in Latvia As a part of the development of the Latvian-Norwegian SOLIS-project Karl Torstein Hetland and Lars Olav Tveita visited the Latvian schools from June 5-8 1998. The purpose of the trip was to get to know the people at each school and to be sure that the measurement equipment worked OK. prof. Tomass Romanovskis who is the coordinator in Latvia, organized the visit. During four days we managed to visit all the schools, but then we had driven almost 1200 km! We would like to thank all the schools for their great hospitality and their great
enthusiasm for the project. There were some minor problems with the equipment that was
corrected and we hope everything is ready for the new schoolyear. |
